KOSUSHI- sao paulo

Founded by a Japanese chef and a Brasilian partner, KOSUSHI has been there in Itaim on the same location for more than 20 years. From outside, it is very hidden and discreet, but once you are inside, it is usually full of people and creates a great social space.

Sushi menu has a Brasilian twist, do try deep-friend sushi to be different. It is pretty good. And also try fresh fruits sakerinha (caipirinha made with sake, and it is very common in Brasil) Kiwi and passion-fruits ones are always nice.

Overall, one of the trendiest restaurants I have been in Sao Paulo, and I would go back for its space. Very nicely done. Great presentation. Can be good for any occasion, you won't fail!

Although my recommendation only goes to KOSUSHI in Itaim, they have just opened its second restaurant in the new- and the most expensive- shopping mall, CIDADE JARDIM. The owner told me that one is very nice.
Perhaps it is for you to discover!
